AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Fake vote casting has been alleged at Telimaura.

A local news channel has broadcasted footage where an indigenous youth is distributing fake ID cards at Telimaura’s Howaibari area.

Authority is checking the facts and truth behind the footages. Across Tripura amid massive attacks from the ruling BJP, voters are casting their votes, whereas in 30 places CPI-M polling agents were removed.

In many areas voters could not cast their votes but few BJP leaders have also arrested in poll code violation and threatening voters.
