AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): BJP and IPFT both parties have condemned attack on Mintu Debbarma, one of the attackers on Pragya Deb Barman at Tulashikhar.

 But none of the parties have condemned attack on Princess Pragya Deb Barman who was attempted to be murdered by 30 people led gangs.

The attack on Princess Pragya Debbarma held on yesterday. The vehicles of Pragya Deb Barman, Queen Bibhu Kumari, Pradyot Deb Barman were going in gap of 30 minutes each. Leader Ananta Debbarma who was earlier IPFT leader, now joined Congress was threatened in phone not to visit Khowai or to face attack. But already in that gap, Pragya Debbarman reached Tulashikhar and 30 miscreants attacked her and attempted to murder.

On spot security and Congress supporters caught one miscreant whereas 29 more escaped from the spot.

His name is Mintu Debbarma who was handedover to police. It has been alleged, after threat from West MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik, the police didn’t arrest any more miscreants. Bhowmik has set hooligans form other states in Tripura.

Then Pradyot Manikya out of emotion of being a brother slapped him.
