EC issues notice to Pratima Bhowmik for ‘too much’ Election Expenditure

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 18 (TIWN): Election Commission of India has issued notice to BJP MP candidate, better known as “Crime Queen†for violating election expenditure.
According to report, Pratima Bhowmik has used extra 9 lakhs rupees for her election expenditure.
The East Tripura MP candidate Rebati Tripura of BJP also received a separate notice in same issue.
Slamming BJP’s activities, Congress spokesperson Harekrishna Bhowmik said, “It proves, in which way, BJP has run the election season”, referring further massive poll rigging and appointing goons to torture voters, destroying free means of election.
