AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): Assistant Returning officers of Sonamura, Bishalgrah, Mohonpur were served with notices by West DM Sandeep Mahatme with evidences of poll-manipulation saying, particular cases should be taken against them.

“Such crimes come under 135A like booth capturing and one jail for 1 to 3 years is must”, said the DM in a letter to the Assistant returning officers.

The officers now will identify the polling agents immediately. It came after the first investigation.

Crimes took place as Polling agents are forcing voters to cast in favour of their own candidate and voting on behalf of voters, destroying webcasting etc.

DM orders the ROs to lodge FIR against those polling agents.

BJP in last one year has lost its popularity led massive rigging across the state.Election Commission has marked the poll on 11^th April was violated.
