AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): A deadly attack on Tripura Princess Pragna Deb Barman, has taken place at Khowai when she was in a campaigning for upcoming East Tripura Election.

The Planned attack on Congress MP candidate Princess Pragya Deb Barman led 2 arrests.

Pragya Deb Barman is the Congress MP candidate for Lok Sabha Election for East Tripura.

It was allegedly a plan by none other than IPFT Minister Mebar Jamatia, who on yesterday claimed that 11th April’s election was postponed due to Garia Puja mainly, not any major violence.

After the attack, Maharaja Pradyot Manikya said in social media, “Very sad to see that my sister RK Pragya attacked by paid goondas in Tulashikhar , khowai by drunk goons . One person arrested and many will follow ! Mr Minister ( You know who I am talking about ) you will have to pay dearly for hiring people to attack my sister”.

Another source has informed BJP is gathering goons from various states to manipulate the election and amid strict warning form the Election Commission of India such brutal attackers, election attacks on opposition remain unstoppable.

However, 2 persons were arrested so far.
