BJP claims ‘Free & fair Election’ on 11th April : CEO confirms Poll was deferred to prevent repetition of 11th April's election rigging

AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has claimed on yesterday late-night press conference that on 11th April a free and fair election was conducted in Tripura.
Jolting BJP’s claim on the other side, CEO Sriram Taranikanti has confirmed that the poll was deferred to stop same situations erupted on April 11 during West Tripura constituency election. The CEO also said in the gap and extended time, Commission will ensure more security personnel in state and further safety preparations will be taken. All the political parties however, have welcomed the decision. 1) Booths were captured on 11th April, 2) Fake vote casting was made by clearing the booths from opposition polling agents, 3) Voters were not allowed to cast votes. 4) Many were injured while attempting to cast votes, 5) Security blanket were withdrawn, 6) Webcasting, videographing were halted, 7) Before election and after election BJP bike-led-goons threatened house to house, attacked physically, damaged properties, Presiding Officers were attacked while carrying EVMs in many places, 8) Oppositions could not do campaigning due to BJP’s open attack before police.Add your Comment
