AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): While addressing at Orient Chowmuhani agitation in demand of repoll in West Tripura and peaceful upcoming election in East Tripura, CPI-M Tripura General Secretary Gautam Das said, this election will remain as a blot for Election Commission.

“11th April’s election is a big scandal of BJP Govt and also faceloss for Election Commission, where webcasting was stopped by force and voters could not vote, polling agents were removed from the booths”, said Gautam Das.

“We were informing the election commission again and again about would be situations in the state. We had already experienced how illegally BJP won the Panchayat and Municipal Elections in the state. At first phase they didn’t allow us to submit even nominations and then started booth capturing of the remaining seats. Same has been repeated in the Lok Sabha Election and the blame goes to Biplab Deb Govt and Election Commission”, said Gautam Das.

“Since the beginning BJP has been attacking the oppositions, party offices captured, bulldozed. Now, via which BJP has crossed all limits by such level of massive rigging is  the ongoing Lok Sabha Election”, said Gautam Das.
