AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): Protesting against the ongoing election rigging and 11th April’s massive election rigging, booth capturing CPI-M along with other Left parties came in massive protest today in Agartala and Delhi.

The protest in Agartala was launched at Orient Chowmuhani from 11 am to 2 pm.

On yesterday, CPI-M has placed a deputation to SP West in demand of arrest of culprits who launched violence across West Tripura since 10th April in Tripura.

Over 800 complaints have been submitted to the Election Commission in demand of re-polling.

After massive rigging, booth capturing during West Tripura Lok Sabha Election, Left party leaders have met CEO Sriram Tarnikanti on Sunday demanding a peaceful voting on upcoming 18th April’s East Tripura constituency’s election.

The massive protest was organized at Delhi today led by CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury in demand of repolling in Tripura for 464 booths in Tripura and 500 booths in Bengal.
