AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury on Tuesday during his speech at Orient Chowmuhani in protest of Election rigging on 11th April, along with demand of ‘Peaceful Election’ on 18th April said if officials of each dept engaged in election duty had done his / her job properly then such situation was not to be happened.
“This is the most important election of India but whereas the Election was expected to be fought on the basis of logic, debates the Govt and a part of corrupt administration have turned the election a farce”, said MP Jitendra Chaudhury.
He also said, if Election Commission and Civil Administration had done their duties such election would not happen.
In case of East Tripura Jitendra Chaudhury hinted hooligans from Bajrang Dal have been selected for poll rigging, adding, on 18th April such incident will not be allowed to be repeated.
