AGARTALA, April 13 (TIWN): Law Minister Ratanlal Nath on behalf of Tripura Govt said, it is not possible to provide security only for "each" Doctor as all are working outside the home.

Ratan lal Nath was addressing media on why security providing is not possible by the State Govt of Tripura only for Doctors, saying if Doctors get security then why not teachers, journalists and other professionals also will demand security ?

He stated, “It’s time for people to overcome sentiment and think practically”.

Providing security is not solution, rather the solution is people have to change their minds.

Ratanlal Nath also hinted a hidden intrigue behind the IGM hospital doctor beating episode saying, Govt is looking into the matter.

On the other side, Health Minister Sudip Barman has given up his escort in protest against the lawless situation of the state under his own Govt.

The movement of doctors sparked after one young Doctor Dipankar Debnath was beaten by mob in broad-day light in capital city Agartala followed by dozens of similar attacks in recent days.
