AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury on Wednesday has slammed BJP after the MP’s campaigning was stopped by force in the presence of police at Barchara.

 MP Jitendra Chaudhury said, “I have just talked to SDM and he has confirmed that it is our time. It is the proof that BJP does not consider model-code-of-conduct and one-way ruling”.

“How in front of so many police officers such incident can take place, it proves Biplab Deb is the butcher of Tripura’s democracy. Narendra Modi is destroying the democracy across India and his disciple Biplab Deb is destroying the democracy in Tripura. Today Barchara has remained as the witness of Biplab Deb’s lawlessness”, said Jitendra Chaudhury.
