AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): Tripura Congress State President Pradyot Manikya has slammed Tripura motormouth Chief Minister Biplab Deb for is destructive theories and one-year of non-working Govt. While debating with media with ‘Pola Jati, Ulo Party’ concept, Pradyot Manikya said, “Lets do constructive politics. Politics should not be hitting each-other personally. They (BJP) are forcing my uncle (BJP Minister Jishnu Dev Barman) to speak against the Royal Family but as he is an honest man I would not speak against him. Let Babu to come up with a constructive plan for development. I will support him but tomorrow if he comes and says make Oxygen then I would notâ€. Pradyot Manikya said this, after media asked him regarding a criticism on Pradyot Manikya’s “Poila Jati Ulo Party†concept which was first time criticized by Jishnu Dev Barman. Pradyot said, BJP is forcing him (Jishnu) to talk against Royal family members who belong to Congress.
Slamming Biplab Deb further, Pradyot Manikya said when Ananta Debbarma was resigning from IPFT, Biplab Deb called him and asked not to quit IPFT. Pradyot Manikya raised question, who is Biplab Deb to tell Ananta Debbarma this, but not NC Debbarma, the President of IPFT ?
The theory of Oxygen laid by Biplab Deb became national media headline back in 2018, month of August-September. Chief Minister Biplab Deb on August 27, 2018 while addressing at Neermahal festival claimed that ducks increase Oxygen (O2) in water. He said this, when he promised to give 50000 ducks to Neermahal locals to boost rural economy.
"Ducks not only increase Oxygen by paddling but it also it helps to grow the fish fast. It helps in recycling and thus fishes automatically get the feed", CM said.
