AGARTALA, October 13 (TIWN): After 24 hours, police failed to trace the miscreants who tried to rob the house of prime accused of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA) scam- Arnab Chakraborty, yesterday.
Till now it is not clear that whether the miscreants tried to rob the house or it was an attempt to destroy all the documents related to the multi-crore RMSA Scam. Police said that we have adopted the finger prints and the finger prints have been sent to the forensic laboratory for further investigation.
It is to be mentioned here that on Sunday morning some miscreants entered the house of prime accused of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA) Arnab Chakraborty. Immediately the matter was looked by the neighbours and his family relatives. Realizing the matter, the miscreants managed to flee from the spot. The localities immediately contacted to the East Agartala Police Station. After getting the information officer-in-charge of East Agartala Police Station rushed to the spot. Police said that, no belongings were found missing. However, police had adopted the finger prints and the finger prints were sent to the forensic department for further investigation.
Police informed that the house was not under their surveillance. We had handed over the house to Arnab’s brother, said police.
At present Arnab along with his wife and mother are behind bars.
