AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): Tripura will get a new Governor soon, says report.

On 27^th July the incumbent Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki will return to his home as his 5 years tenure will be ended.

Before being the Governor of Tripura, Singh was the Governor of Haryana.

However, who will be next Governor, it’s unknown yet.

Kaptan Singh Solanki is the Governor of Tripura and an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Since August 2009 he was the member of the Parliament of India representing Madhya Pradesh State in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house until May 2014. He studied at Vikram University, Ujjain, P.G.B.T.

He is the Governor of Tripura since 2018.
