AGARTALA / GANDACHERA, April 4 (TIWN): Amid scarcity of drinking water, locals of Gandachera staged a road blockade on Tuesday. They also had another issue of protest which is related to MGNREGA works and pending payments.

Since 6 am today, the road blockade started and till 3.30 pm’s reporting nobody from the administration came yet to talk to them.

From Banpara, Loknath Coloni Para, Bhagirathi Colony Para gathered on the highway and blocked road.

Transport movement was paralyzed and businessmen are unable to continue their daily works, but nobody from the administration  has visited there.
