AGARTALA, April 3 (TIWN): With a big blow to IPFT ahead of Lok Sabha Election 500 families joined Congress whereas one of the representatives of youth IPFT commented that NC Debbarma’s IPFT has become a “banned” issue under BJP-IPFT alliance.

In such a critical situation when BJP is imposing forest eviction, Citizenship Amendment Bill, the supporters of IPFT have decided to join Congress.

“BJP’s sabka-sath, sabka-bikas turned as dhokabzai whereas NC Babu’s Tipraland is now banned”, said the new Congress leader.

Since Citizenship Amendment Bill and Madab Bari violence on January 8, IPFT supporters’ resentments against two of its Ministers NC Debbarma and Mebar Jamatia as both of them were silent against BJP Govt even after severe attacks on the Tiprasa people.

With these ongoing resentments there is a massive landsliding going on in the IPFT and thus on yesterday with the edition of 500 families resignation from IPFT has fallen like sky on IPFT’s head.
