AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar who has breathed his last on Monday after his long illness was paid the last tribute Dilip Sarkar at Secretariat in the presence of all Ministers, MLA, officials.

Dilip Sarkar was a politician from Tripura who is known as one of the most dedicated politicians. During his political career, Sarkar sold his properties for political works and locals.

In 2013 assembly elections, he represents Badharghat constituency in West Tripura Tripura in Tripura Legislative Assembly. In 2016, he was one of the six MLA from Indian National Congress who joined TMC.

Due to unhappiness towards party because of allying CPI-M at Bengal. In August 2017, he joined BJP.
