AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): INPT has declared candidates’ names for Lok Sabha election, expressing resentment on Congress Party State President Pradyot Manikya.

INPT President Bijay Kumar Hrangkhawl will contest in East Tripura Lok Sabha and Jagadish Debbarma will be the candidate of West Tripura.

Hrangkhawl said that time to time, many people called INPT as communal whereas INPT was never communal in activity.

Expressing resentment on Pradyot Manikya, INPT President said, INPT had always good relation with Congress but this time, State Congress asked INPT candidates to resign from INPT if they want to battle the election, which has hurt them.

However, INPT mentioned, Rahul Gandhi was positive about INPT but in Tripura it is going different.
