AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Under Election Commission’s strict rules and observation, Stipend Section under Govt of Tripura has stopped bicycle distribution campaigning of the Education Dept.

In a letter to various District Education Office, it has been said, “Due to model code of conduct in Lok Sabha Election 2019 which has already come into effect since March 10, distribution of bicycle should be stopped upto completion of Election Process. The matter may be treated as MOST URGENT”.

Govt of Tripura started this bicycle distribution programme and various leaders made the occasion a place for political campaigning.
