KAMALPUR, Oct 10 (TIWN): After a prolonged awaiting today the Annapurna Filling Station, the only petrol pump of the subdivision started distributing petrol. And to fill the tank of the vehicle, people lined up in front of the filling station from 5am in the morning.
The entrance of the filling station got packed with vehicles and people, everybody wanted to fill the tanker first, least the fuel got emptied again. However, the authority distributed fuel as per the Govt. regulation. Each bike got fuel of 200 rupees, each three-wheleer of 300 rupees and each four-wheeler of 500 rupees. People got relieved as the deadlock of fuel ended. It is noteworthy that, like the other parts of the state, Kamalpur also suffered acute crisis of fuel and the black-marketers made huge money by selling petrol even at a rate of 250-300 rupees per litre. And most those fuels had a large amount of kerosene mixed in it.
