‘Blood does not have any religion’, says Health Minister

AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Thursday while addressing at TIT College has called students and others attended the blood donation camp to donate blood saying there is no better feeling than donating blood.
The blood donation camp was organized by TIT, Agartala.
The Health Minister said that four times blood donation in a year is safe.
Citing example of how a Bangladesh citizens saved one girl’s life by donating blood to her being a Muslim, Barman said, ‘blood doesn’t have any religion’.
"I urge common men to come forward in voluntary blood donation camps. Tripura should mark with 100% voluntary blood donation rate", he added.
