AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): BJP Govt could not complete 5% remaining work of the dream flyover project leading everyday traffic jam issues in the capital city Agartala.

Due to pending bills and lack of central funds, BJP Govt couldn’t pay off the flyover company led delay of the project, sources said.

But in the name of investigation, Govt has filed cases against former engineers as Sunil Bhowmik, whereas once upon a time, under Sunil Bhowmik hundreds of roadway and other projects of the PWD took place.

Now, questions have been erupted whether those cases were filed against the engineers just to hide Govt’s major failures ?

This would be the first flyover of Tripura, which was constructed to manage the increasing traffic jams in the capital city Agartala at the cost of 300 crores. The flyover was to be inaugurated in 2018-January but due to election, the construction was delayed.Since BJP Govt came in power, it has stopped the whole work which is also leading the half done flyover towards destruction.

No proper statement by the State Govt yet was given regarding the delay of the flyover work completion.
