AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): State Election Commission CEO Sriram Taranikanti has announced a toll-free number of 1950 which would help the voters to know about their voter ID card related information.

 However, same facility will be available if can be checked in the website.

The press conference was conducted after Election Commission of India announced election dates.

Announcing that the two-phase election in Tripura for two MP seats will be conducted on April 11 and April 18.

Taranikanti said that election is always held under huge preparations and this Lok Sabha election is also will be under total order, he further confirmed about stable law and order.

“Many challenges which are expected and unexpected come during the election. Our aim is to develop the system via training to gain the high satisfaction level. 240 District level master trainers are there and 60 IT officials have also trained. EVM, VVPAT training are going on”, he said.
