AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Pradyot Manikya has called ex-TMC leader Mukul Roy like persons are now BJP’s poster boys who were leading chit funds in their states.
Without taking name, Manikya also hit BJP for not taking action against Himanta Biswa Sarma like leaders who were masters of scams, just because he joined BJP.
Addressing in social media, Manikya said, “Political parties should not do so many promises, which they can not fulfill in future. BJP promised that within 10 days of its Govt there will be action against Rose Valley chit fund accused persons but so far no development has come”.
Noteworthy, recently the ruling BJP MLAs hit CPI-M ex- CPI-M Minister Bijita Nath in Assembly under Rose Valley scam accusation, but Bijita Nath challenged BJP Govy to start investigation as what Bijita Nath did if it is called a scam, then even the present speaker of Assembly i.e. BJP MLA Biswabandhu Sen himself was with her in Rose Valley programme.
