AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman said cannabis can be legalized in Tripura, if Centre revises the existing Act.
"It can be legalized as it can be used for many medical treatments including cancer. However, central government has to take a call whether they exclude it from the list of banned things. Once it is out, many states can make it legalized”, said Sudip Barman according to news report.
“Even though cannabis are banned, but it can be used by states for medical purposes”, said Barman, proposing central govt to take a step for that.
