AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Japanese Ambassador to India Kenji Hiramatsu has arrived in Tripura, addressed media here after he met Chief Minister Biplab Deb.
The ambassador further proposed to introduce Japanese language in Tripura University.
He is also schedule to meet the University Vice Chancellor in this regard and visit the University.
Japanese is an East Asian language spoken by about 128 million people, primarily in Japan, where it is the national language. It is a member of the Japonic language family, and its relation to other languages, such as Korean, is debated.
