AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Congress State President Pradyot Manikya has slammed the Modi Govt for removing special category status from Northeast states.
On February 26, Rahul Gandhi while visiting Assam said that once Congress is in power, it will return the status. Pradyot Manikya also criticized the Govt on Forest Rights Act and Citizenship Amendment Bill saying these are the biggest betrays of BJP Govt to Northeast. Also the Congress leader welcomed non-BJP parties' formal, informal support.Add your Comment
