AGARTALA, October 9 (TIWN): The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will celebrate its 75th year of glorious service to the nation on October 12 and its anniversary Parade will be organized at Group Centre, Adarani, said CRPF DIG Balaram Shill here today.

While speaking to TIWN, CRPF DIG Balaram Shill, said that to mark the occasion a half marathon with the theme 'Run For Unity’ will also be organized. Director General of Police, Tripura, K. Nagaraj will flag off the 'Run For Unity’ at Group Centre, Adarani at around 7AM. The half marathon will start from Adarani and the half marathon is open for all, he added. Director General of Police, Tripura, K. Nagaraj will also distribute the prizes at 9 AM. The 1st Prize is Rs 10,000, the  2nd Prize is Rs 7,000 and the 3rd prize is Rs 5,000, he mentioned.
