AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): B.Ed qualified teaching job aspirants are resented as BJP led State Govt has announced Engineers and other Technical degree holders can also appear in TET exam. (However, they are obligated by relaxation rules and percentage issues)
Question raises, if graduates can not apply for engineering posts how can engineers appear for teachers interviews. Is this the way of valuing quality teachers by displaying that anybody can become a teacher without any special skill ?
Around 250 TET qualified people are yet to be recruited by the Govt.
However, it has been said that as science teachers are less in number thus this move may help to get good mathematics teachers. In the same way, many engineers are also joining banks.
But from the engineers’ side also criticism erupting why Govt is not calling interviews for PWD engineering posts fulfillment or TCS, TPS exams.
