AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Now Education department has tightened the discipline for teachers in Tripura as 800 teachers will be kept in block-wise, whose work will be to inspect teachers and their teaching method.
They will sit in the last bench and will check the teaching standard of the teachers’ teaching. Also govt will provide them laptops.
Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said this in a press conference today.
According to him, No-Detention-Policy is not solely responsible for downed Education steup, but political interference in schools resulted in worst outcomes.
The Minister also said, there will be teachers training and no ‘fund crisis’ will be issue for teachers training.
He also mentioned, the Govt would not focus on the infrastructure right now, but to develop teachers quality will be the first aid to develop education system.
However, the main problem of education system in Tripura has been detected is teachers-crisis.
Unless a teacher is allowed only to take 2 or 3 classes, till then no development can come, because quality education is impossible when a teacher is imposed by 4 to 6 classes per day.
Tripura has 7000 B.Ed ongoing/ passed teaching job aspirants and Govt can recruit them as immediate remedy.
