AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): With a major relief for Tripura Airway passengers, MP Jitendra Chaudhury via sets of meeting conducted at Delhi has successfully managed to add Delhi bound connection of Air India flights.
MP Jitendra Chaudhury held a meeting at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Head Office of Ministry of Civil Aviation with Union Minister Suresh Prabhu and Jayant Sinha.
“In order to ease the problem of Delhi bound passengers from Agartala in the evening period, Air India has agreed with the proposal to connect two Air India flights i.e. AI-746 and AI-023 which operates between Agartala-Kolkata, Kolkata-Delhi sectors", Govt press release said.
There will be also a review by SpiceJet authority whether they can resume the service for Tripura again as Jitendra Chaudhury also met CMD of SpiceJet Ajay Singh.
