AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): With a shocking development it has been known that Govt schools are imposing hefty amounts of donations on the students for the upcoming Saraswati Puja.

Congress's student wing NSUI has raised voice against it.

Pradesh NSUI committee on Monday placed a deputation to the Principal of Umakanta English Medium School to reduce the donation charge for Saraswati Puja 2019.

It was alleged that huge amounts of donations has been charged by Umakanta School upon all students.

After the complaints came, NSUI met the Principal and also told him if this donation-amount is not reduced then heavy protest will be conducted in the coming days.
