AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN): AICC in next few days likely to announce former MLA, Eminent Lawyer Gopal Roy’s name as PCC President for Tripura.

Among various contenders, Gopal Roy’s candidature almost finalized as press PCC President Birjit Sinha’s weak leadership was not an option before Lok Sabha Election.

Gopal Roy even though under BJP’s JUMLA wave, lost the last election against Biplab Deb but he has been hugely popular and till day considered as the true leader of his constituency in Banamalipur.

The strongest speech started against BJP Govt by any political leader in Tripura was Gopal Roy and he started it since two months of BJP Govt in Tripura.

Recently Gopal Roy came in media limelight after he suggested Biplab Deb to get a fire brigade service in his convoy too after Biplab Deb added an ambulance service with his 20 vehicle convoy.
