AGARTALA, Jan 29 (TIWN): East Agartala Police have arrested two persons in Dog-Smuggling racket.

Two persons have been arrested in this connection.

The vehicle bearing number-M2 026430  which was carrying the dogs was going to Mizoram.  

The dogs were injected with drugs and being smuggled by putting inside sacks.

It has been alleged that everyday dogs are being smuggled to Mizoram from Tripura. Due to poor economic condition of the state this criminal activity has recently spiked up.
