BELONIA, Jan 18 (TIWN): Once again attack incident on CPI-M leaders was alleged at South Tripura. Deputy Opposition leader, Ex-Minister MLA Badal Choudhury has demanded action against the miscreants.

Massive attack took place Baikhora area led huge tension. The two attacked victims are : Swapan Biswas and Nitya Gopal Biswas.

After the CPI-M leaders were returning home after completing a meeting at Bhaskar Chakraborty’s home were attacked by a group of 16 people of BJP.

Few of them were identified as 1) Surajit Biswa, S/O-Ganesh Biswas (recently he kidnapped a girl in Belonia in front of her mother), 2)Ratan Baidya, 3) Badal Debnath, 4) Mithu Majumder, 5) Chaina Mog.

They beaten both of the CPI-M leaders and also broke spectacle of one of them. FIR was lodged against the miscreants.

Badal Choudhury said, “Even after the attack took place near police station, till now no action was taken. I talked to DGP A K Shukla and sought action”.
