AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Cold waves prevailed unabated in most parts of Northeast including Tripura. Weather Dept said, the temperature is 14 degree Celsius.

Changed weather conditions have disrupted normal life in the State and State capital after temperatures have dipped significantly again reaching freezing temperatures for the first time in the season.

On Saturday, state woke up with a foggy morning views everywhere, with poor visibility and thus fog has marked the Christmas morning here. This cold wave is prevailing across the whole state.

Meteorological Department said, similar situation will continue from now.

 Intense harsh weather conditions were witnessed and Met department has issued warning of cold waves and frost.
