AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Opposition leader, Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has condemned BJP led attacks on MLA Bhanulal Saha and CPI-M State General Secretary Gautam Das at Bishalgrah subdivision, under Sepahijala District.

In a press note, Sarkar said, “BJP miscreants on the day of Municipal Election on Thursday attacked former Minister Bhanulal Saha and on Friday has caused brutal attacks on CPI-M State General Secretary Gautam Das. I demand immediate arrest of the culprits behind the violence”.

Sarkar also urged police and administration to take neutral role and set rule of law, further calling common men to come forward against the misruling of BJP and to restore democracy.
