Communist party observes 74th anniversary of ‘Jana-Shiksha-Andolon’ in Tripura

AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Like every year, Tripura Communist observed 74th anniversary of ‘Jana-Shiksha-Andolon’ (Mass Literacy Day), a movement of Communists claimed against monarchy during British regime in undivided Tipara District, which turned massively active after 1950.
MP Jitendra Choudhury, also chief of Tripura Ganamukti Parishad (tribal wing of CPI-M) hoisted Communist Party flag at Agartala Coronel Chowmuhani (Agartala) and paid tribute to all the former legends who dedicated lives for developing tribal society with mass Education.
Floral tributes were paid to leaders as Nilmani Debbarma, Dasharath Deb, Sudhanu Debbarma, Aghore Debbarma, Hemanta Debbarma, Biren Datta.
