AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): BJP has paid tribute to its killed party activist on his second death anniversary who was allegedly murdered by political intrigue in Left front regime in 2016.

Party President cum Chief Minister Biplab Deb was present and paid tribute to Chanmohon Tripura at BJP-headquarter, Krishnanagar.

The former Govt (CPI-M) on that time denied his murder is a political murder and also question was raised on Chanmohon Tripura’s mental stability before death and also the killer’s mental condition was not well certified.

But BJP on that time demanded CBI investigation in Chanmohon Tripura’s murder and led massive protests allover the state.

Total 7 persons’ names were pronounced by BJP on that time as ‘killer’.

After Govt assumed power, till now so far no development has come in the case, raising doubt whether Chanmohon Tripura was a political victim or not.
