AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Various national news media is now exposing Tripura BJP-IPFT Govt led strike on Govt jobs which has frustrated the job aspirants here.
The Economic Times reported, “The BJP-led Tripura government has decided that fresh recruitments to government services should be restricted to the number of retirements which take place each year. Tripura has the highest number of Govt Jobs in the country and the expenditure on salaries (including establishment expenses), pensions and debt repayment constitutes about 80% of its expenditure, leaving very little for development activities”.
Many more national media also have reported the same.
BJP-IPFT led State Govt in Tripura in circulation under No.F 9 (2) FIN (G)/ 2017/ 711 on December 17 said that Tripura having the “highest numbers of Govt employees” and there is no need of any more Govt employee unless the posts are vacated by surrender or retirement. The order also said, “Tripura has the highest level of Govt employment in the country.
Opposition CPI-M has come in massive attack to the Govt as BJP-IPFT Govt has accepted that previous Manik Sarkar led Govt had given highest level of employment and also CPI-M now demanded BJP should fulfil its pre-poll written promises like 1)House to House jobs, 2)50,000 Govt jobs in the first year of the Govt formation.
