AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb campaigned at Meghalaya on Rafale deal’s verdict at Supreme Court which came in favour of Modi Govt, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has arrived here in Agartala on Tuesday, addressed media on the same issue.

Sonowal while addressing at BJP Krishnanagar Headquarter said, Rahul Gandhi and his party leaders are unable to their show faces before media after the verdict. SC has taught a lifetime lesson to Congress for playing with nation’s image and security.

“Rahul Gandhi must do apology on Rafale deal intrigue which he did not only against Modi Govt, but against the whole country”, said Sonowal.

Sonowal further said, everywhere a good Governance is going on and Congress being unable to digest Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good Governance had tried to malign BJP’s image but till day no corruption of Modi Govt could be proven.

Sonowal further pinches Congress on its leader Sajjan Kumar’s lifetime imprisonment in anti-Shikh riot and added, “Congress is dreaming big just after winning three states, but in Lok Sabha election, people will give them the answer”.

On the other side, demanding JPC probe in Rafale Deal scam, Tripura Congress hoisted a protest in Agartala on yesterday evening along with the ongoing national level protest.

The Congress has been continuing alleging corruption in the Rafale fighter jet deal and demanding a probe by a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).
