Lefunga (West Dist), Dec 17 (TIWN): One 55 years woman was killed brutally at Lefunga, Kamalghat village of Bazar Tila area.

The deceased has been identified as Subha Laxmi Debbarma (55). One Tashil Debbarma who is also resident of Kamalghat village was arrested.

According to the ground report, Subha Laxmi Debbarma was killed by Tashil Debbarma in the morning.

Today at around 4.30 am Tashil Debbarma knocked Subha Laxmi Debbarma’s door where she lives with her son.  With Tashil Debbarma few issues were going on from many days with Subha Laxmi Debbarma’s family members. The family members rebuked him and told him to come in the morning.

Then he again came after sometime and started knocking the door, when they denied to open the door, from the back of the room he entered by breaking the bamboo wall and started to hit her with one axe.

When her son came to save her, Tashil Debbarma also hit him with that axe and left injured.

Subha Laxmi Debbarma died on spot. Police have arrested Tashil Debbarma.
