AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): To protest against Tripura Police’s bias role and acting of ‘political slaves’, opposition Congress has announced to go in massive protest before police headquarter on December 19.
Congress President Birjit Sinha has told media.
The Congress leader further mentioned, party leader Ratan Das’s house was attacked, he was attempted to be killed, his car was damaged, instead of arresting the culprits, police had targeted victim Ratan Das and arrested him.
Apart from that hundreds of attacks took place in party offices and across opposition supporters’, leaders’ houses.
In this condition, Congress has announced to protest before police headquarter on 19th December condemning police’s role in sponsoring violence.
Birjit Sinha also raised question, why Chief Minister Biplab Deb held whole night meeting with police, whereas violence increased on that time, when the Chief Minister kept police officers busy in meeting by paralyzing Home Dept.
