AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): In continuous efforts against illegal drugs, Police seized huge amount of cannabis being smuggled through Agartala Airport, Tripura.

One Amitabha Datta was arrested by Airport police after huge amounts of ganja was seized with him by Airport security.

The market value of the seized cannabis is estimated at Rs 1 crore.

 The contraband was concealed in Fish caring packets that were hidden inside the airport. The Police headed by SDPO along with OC Alamgir Hussein have arrested one who involved and are on the lookout for a few more people believed to be involved in this crime.

Police said that the items were smuggled in fish carrying boxes, came out while scanning at the Airport.
