AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb insulted Tripura’s unemployed youths by asking them to rear cows and to open paan shops, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath now under controversy after he commented that Tripura’s unemployed youths didn’t study under quality education and don’t have capacity to pass the competitive tests.
Ratanlal Nath said this at Amarpur on Sunday during a govt employees association’s programme.
When TPSC to all Govt Depts cancelled each existing recruitments, over thousand police job aspirants even after being selected were terminated from getting jobs, the Education Minister said, “Show me where are qualified youths. Right now I will give job, but what kind of education system Tripura has that qualified youths are in very less number”.
However, when Ratanlal Nath asked to present qualified youths in front of him, Govt is far from releasing advertisements for filling up of vacant posts. Before the election it was said that within a year 50,000 vacant posts will be filled up but Govt yet to release advertizements for those vacant posts.
In this condition Nath’s statement turned controversy.
