AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Sister of slain lawyer Promod Modok, Jaba Modok was sent in 4 days police remand after she was produced before the court today.

Jaba Modok was arrested on yesterday by East Agartala Women Police Station after 10 days of the murder.

Lawyers met DGP A K Shukla, wore black batches for a whole day condemning the murder.

Lawyer Pradip Modok, S/O- Late Promod Ranjan Modok was killed on January 29 early morning suspected by professional killers, but after 3 days of passage there is no development in that "Cold Blooded Murder" case of the Lawyer.

The murdered lawyer was a resident of Abhoynagar in Agartala city was killed brutally on late-night and kept his body in a water-drum inside the house.

Police were informed about the dead body found of Pradip Modok in home and rushed to the spot. After arriving, police recovered the body from the drum and called forensic team and dog-squad for investigation investigate, but till now no development has come in the case. 

On yesterday his younger sister Jaba Modok was arrested, whereas today sent for four days police remand.
