Tripura Municipal Election : Opposition candidate saves himself from BJP attack by climbing tree

AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Lawlessness has hit Tripura centering the Municipal Election on December 22. One candidate saved ownself from BJP attack after he submitted nomination paper for the election.
The candidate is Shashanka Saha (40) who submitted nomination for No-15 ward.He was the first to submit nomination on behalf of Amra Bangali party.
A huge group of BJP miscreants attacked his home and he went out of the house by the backdoor and climbed up on a tree.
The miscreants, after not getting him, threatened his family members and asked to convince him to withdraw nominations. Later after their departure, Shashanka Saha returned home.
