Grameen Dak Sevaks launch strike demanding pay hike

AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): The Grameen Dak Sevaks (GDS) across Tripura along with whole nation on Tuesday launched a strike following.
The strike is a nation-wide call given by AIGDSU, NUGDS and GDS Joint Committee of Action (JCA).
The Dak Sevaks were demanding the immediate implementation of recommendations pay hikes.
GDS employees earlier had went on indefinite strike from May 14, under Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) and was assited by National Federation of Postal Employees (NFPE).
