DHALAI, Dec 4 (TIWN): Resentments have brewed among the Dhalai residents after one and only eye-specialist was transferred from the hospital at there.

Around 4 lakhs people were dependent upon Dr Madhusudhan Das, the one and only eye specialist at Dhalai. Across Gandachera, Ambasa, Longtarai Valley, Kamalpur, Dr Madhusudhan Das used to visit and check patients.

The doctor was also engaged in eye-operation for four times in a week. Moreover, in a month for thousands of eye-operation he has had rush to other spots and in this condition for him alone it became tough to manage the whole District. 

Locals had demanded another eye-specialist along with Dr Das. But instead of providing more numbers of doctors, he was transferred and Dr Shuili Das took the charge. But due to her health condition she can not move across subdivisions like Dr Madhusudhan Das.

As a result the locals have demanded Dr Madhusudhan Das should be re-appointed in the District hospital. Resentments have been fueled among the locals.
