AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury has raised question for Tripura police whether they get their salaries from BJP party office or from public taxes. His question was followed by various fabricated cases filed against victims of other parties.

TIWN has exposed, how police reject to file FIR against a person even if high profile lawyer goes to police station and how Biplab along with his corrupt Additional DGP Rajiv Singh has been using police force for illegal activities, harassing media and even lady journalists and media persons’ old parents.

However, justifying the controversy Chief Minister Biplab Deb said that now there would not be any instance where police is not taking FIR since BJP came in power.

Moreover, amid 95 rapes in last 5 months CM said, crime against women has been down drastically in Tripura.

“Rape of minor girls decreased 20% and rape of women decreased 10%. Dowry torture decreased 40%”, claimed Biplab Deb.
